Movilfest Honors Legendary Filmmaker Miklós Jancsó

The award was presented by Sandra González, founder and director of Movilfest, during the festival’s ceremony. Miklós Jancsó gained international recognition in the mid-1960s with groundbreaking films such as The Round Up(Szegénylegények, 1965), The Red and the White (Csillagosok, katonák, 1967), and Red Psalm (Még kér a nép, 1971). His unique vision and innovative storytelling cemented his legacy in global cinema.
